Green Bay Packers G

Why is it that the Green Bay Packers only have a "G" on their helmet instead of "GB"? What if other teams with two letter city names did this? The New York Giants with only an "N" and the San Francisco 49ers with only an "S"? Very strange.

Ellen Lupton

I'm teaching Intro to Typography at Seattle Pacific University this quarter and have been very impressed with the Ellen Lupton's "Thinking with type". It's a great resource for young designers and a wonderful refresher for old ones. I recently showed the students this brief portion of the book site. All in all a must have.
